Hello! I am Andrew King

Our sessions will always be about you. However, it's very natural to want to know more about your therapist! People spend so much time with their therapists, yet often know so little about them!

So, let me introduce myself! :) I am born and raised in Las Vegas, a Virgo, cat-person, artist, television and film fan, and gym regular! In some ways, I'm a big kid at heart, such as my love for decorating and celebrating every holiday, but especially Halloween! Before I was a mental health therapist, I had a long work history of working in retail (either sales or cashier) and was a behavior technician for three years before starting grad school.

I attended and graduated CSN in 2015 and graduated UNLV in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. After saving as much money as I could working retail, I then started grad school in August 2021 and graduated a semester early in December 2023 with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have always been a big mental health advocate my whole life and wanted to be a therapist since I was thirteen years old. These values were very likely instilled in me by my mother, who went to school for social work, and my grandmother, who was a counselor in Las Vegas in the 70s-80s.
